The Irish Paramotor safety seminar !!THIS WEEKEND!!

Hello Irish PPG pilots... I look forward to see you this weekend at the seminar!!!

Cheers

Pascal Campbell-Jones

------

The Irish Paramotor safety seminar is to be held @ Moyvalley,Co.Kildare, Ireland. (near Dublin) THIS WEEKEND! The event is based on a similar format to the Euopean Safety seminars held over the last two years in France.

This year Irish pilot Cathal Fowler has invited several of the sports key people to join us, to share in their experience and to help us all progress safely whilst improving our flying skills. We invite you, whatever your level, to come and meet some of the sports most talented personalities who; over the weekend are giving talks and demonstrations.

Specialists are
• World Champion and top Paramotor pilot Mathieu Rouanet of the French Paramotor team,
• Reflex wing pioneer and powerglider designer Mike Campbell-Jones
• Professional international instructor & British Team pilot (world's 10th best pilot) Dean Elderidge
& CO

Subjects covered are the 3 major ones – Wing – Motor & Pilot
• Learn in more depth about the aerodynamics of Soft-wings and aspects of Reflex wing technology.
• Certification of Paramotor wings & what recent changes have taken place (RE: Reflex technology).
• About the different combinations of wings and motors incl. The engineering and stresses of flying on our equipment. And safe practice
• Some valuable tips on different launch techniques and general hot tips.
• You the pilot - Human performance factors, Flying competitions and precision flying.
• Integration - flying near or around other types of aircraft, basic tips and rules of the air.
• Fun stuff (demonstrations, travelling with your paramotor equipment)

We meet on Saturday morning at the Moyvalley Hotel for coffee and getting to know our speakers. The first lecture starts at 9.30. Given the weather conditions we expect to be flexible with the agenda and there will be both indoor and outdoor lessons the seminar finishes on Sunday evening.

Camping available on site, the Marriot hotel, Moyvalley hotel and Hamlet court hotel all within 10 mins of the event!

Date

THIS WEEKEND!! (22nd - 23rd August)

Not looking too promising for a flight on Friday night, but Saturday morning looking hopefull. I will be heading for field tomorrow night, and if the forecast improves, I might try to get up in time for a flight??

Anyone else in field tomorrow night? :D
