Image posting- techniques

Basically images need to be hosted on the internet before they can be shared on the forum. This involves putting them on a hosting server or hosting service such as 'Picassa' or 'Flickr', etc first, then linking to them using the tags when composing your messages.

To post an image you will need to -

* Get the image URL (address)
* Use the [img] tags in your post around the image.
It will look like this-

[img]Addressofimage[/img]

Example- posting images from 'Flickr'
How to post an image from Flickr:

* Okay first we have to grab the image's address, or URL. Go to the image location on Flickr and click 'All Sizes'
Image

* Near the end of the page is an option for 'Grab the photo's URL'

Image

* Highlight the code as in the image below, right click your mouse and then left click 'copy'

Image

*Now all you need to do is paste the location of the image into the body of the message- the location must be surrounded by the 'Img' tags.
Note that the first tag must be just 'img' but the second or, closing tag has to be '/img'.

You can preview the message to check that it works before posting.
