well finally got the new Fusion out of its bag tonight ......carnt get it back in the bag though because of the plastic things springing the leading edge up all the time so I need to learn how to pack it differently than my old wing .....so my opinion on it and please remember its only my opinion..so dont have a go at me.......inflation no problem .....8 take offs out of 8 with no failures.....does not come up as quick as some wings ive flown and I also noticed on nearly all pull ups ( I was doing reverse )5mph the wing tips did not inflate untill the wing was nearly overhead ....but this did not seem to effect anything.....(take off trim position) a little longer run than normal but only a few yards ...a dab of brakes and we are up
....not what Ive been led to believe in all the reports needs quite a pull on the brakes to make it turn I was expecting a bit of a twitchy wing my Skywalk Scotch would run rings round it...dont get me wrong it turns quick but just not super quick,,,,it feels really secure in the air and I felt at home on it straight away...on fast trim its the bollocks I fell in love all over again,,,,,the tip stearing has not been fitted and I wont I can just reach up and pull the line and it works welland it turns ok with a bit of weight shift....... back to the landing zone and pull the trims back in and unclip the brake handles from the magnets .....try some wing overs 360 s just getting a feel for it.....yes I like it..... just a bit more effort to make it turn than I am used to but I will adjust to it landings are a doddle ....the grin will last for a long time just carnt work out why they reckon 40hrs + to fly this wing perhaps its the packing away ,,,,,and getting it back into the bag...
I need instruction on this aspect .
so there you have it my opinion..... :) .

Hi Gary,

Still made no decisions myself about upgrading the wing, but must get back to it!

I was not sure either why they rate it as an intermediate wing?

What size is your wing?

How did you find the climb rate?

Mine is a 28m2 Revolution. My weight is 95kg

While I have always felt safe and have always been very happy with the wing speed / performance etc, I would like to move on to a more sensitive wing, that does not need such effort to tighten the turns!

Image

I am certainly not looking for a wing that is too hairy or 'active' in recovery, but would like a wing that is economical enough, and not too small, as a result, but one that is more responsive!

As usual... I want everything
