My name is Werner , and I'm German , so I hope you don't mind my English.
I own a house in the Dungloe area an live part of the year there .
I just started my paraglider training in Germany and the finel aim is to fly MPG in donegal as well . I hope that my german licence will be accepted there as well.
The system in Germany seems fairly different from the Irish.
Here it is requiered to get a paragliding licence first and then you start training for the MPG licence .
I bought an old glider to do some groundhandling and maybe soaring
at the beach in Donagal . Is that legal in Ireland or do I need permission for that ?
It's nice to get into touch to other pilots via that forum . Hope to meet some of you in Ireland as well.
