Customs Alert Korea

Customs are to be on the look out for two very dodgy characters in the shapes of Cathal and Mick heading for Korea (famous for Kinchi session) next week to fly the flag for us remaining flyers. Best of luck lads and be safe! We're behind ye all the way.

Best of luck and enjoy!
Do try to avoid the border area though.
They have a slightly less evolved response to low flying aircraft than we enjoy here!!

Hi Guys and many congtrats!!
fantastic achievement by the way Mike gave an excellent interview on RTE Radio 1 on thursday morning.
Really shows the sport in a very positive light and explained it very well to some one who may not have heard about it before.

See here; http://www.rte.ie/radio/mooneygoeswild/ ... ber29.html

Well gone again and when can we see the picks?? Leave no filthy scum sucking detail out!! ;-)

Re: Customs Alert Korea

hi lads,
thanks a million for all your support, thanks declan for putting the link up here as i am still trying to sort out the jet-lag!!!i have a few more videos that might be of interest to ye but ye might overload on some of the content!!!!!not for the faint hearted!!!.i hope to post some of them in the coming weeks.on monday morning we done an amazing flight low over daejeon city and it was one of the best flights i have ever had to date.we also had a great comp, all tasks were pure fun,no pressure on anybody.we were treated like kings and the koreans couldnt do enough for us!!the hospitality was way more than what we were expecting.in the overall result of the comp i ended up coming 4th which i was over the moon about,i even got prize money!!!both mike and myself had a ball, met loads of people, learned a lot and i learned how to use chop-sticks!!!!we both have been invited back next year and guess what!!!!!!!
cheers.....cathal.

Re: Customs Alert Korea

Congratulations on the great performance, look forward to hearing all about it and seeing more photos etc. I love the sound of the more fun style of competition, and there may be some interesting events we could borrow from your experiences.

We will have to get a slide show going before the year end.

Re: Customs Alert Korea

hi dean,
cheers on the video,i had one done of the street flying at the meeting but you didnt come to it!none of us are putting any of it up on youtube or vimeo untill ali has the full dvd finished,he put a trailer on youtube,we were all doing the camera work on it that day so there is a lot of footage to go through for the final cut but that trailer wont be the final trailer!he will be doing another one soon!the event itself is not open to everybody!
it was a nice hard fast land alright, crosswind and not to mention pilot error, sick head, jetlag, burning ring of fire and pilot error again!!!!and not a bit of damage!!was a real blast!!!!hope you enjoyed the trailer as much as we did recording it!!!!
cheers....cathal.
