Coupe Icare 2009

I was chatting to Mathieu and Pascal about this event over the weekend- they rekon it is one of the biggest paramotor and freeflying events in the world- and THE best event/fly-in in the world to attend, anyone thinking of going???

I think there might be a few interested. I was looking at flights too. Looks amazing. Would be a nice escape for a few days from all that faces us here at the minute!

I am very keen.

Hello,

It's a great trip to go on did it a few years ago with the falcon's free flying, really has a great buzz to it over a 100,000 people attend each year really is a sight you will never forget.

Re: Coupe Icare 2009

What an excellent weekend this was- I would highly recommend it for a visit, it would actually be a good family trip as theres loads to see and do , with breath-taking scenery.
There was some amazing flying skill showcasedImage

Some weird and wonderful flying costumes

They even had a paramotor fitted to a hot air balloon
